Dr. Matthew Hoffman is the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) at UHIN, where he oversees the clinical analysis of data. After joining UHIN in 2011, Matt architected and oversaw the implementation of CareAchieve, UHIN’s data analytics tool. Matt earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Utah. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Brigham Young University, and is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah. Following his graduation from medical school, Matt completed a fellowship in Pharmaceutical Informatics with Roche in San Francisco, California. He also worked as a research coordinator for the Utah Psoriasis Initiative, where he co-authored multiple papers published in national dermatology journals. He has also presented on health information exchange at both local and national conferences, including at the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference and the eHealth Initiative Annual Conference.
